PG Hospice 6th Annual Colour Walk

Throughout the month of May, community members and supporters have been challenged to walk 100K in the Month of May, in memory of a loved one they have lost. We have shared our stories, why we are walking and who we are walking for. Walkers have pledged to raise funds in support of Hospice, with a total goal of reaching $60,000.

On May 26th, the community is invited to join us at the CN Centre as we complete our journey and Celebrate Life in Colour. Participants will be showered in a rainbow of colour as they walk their finals steps of the month. The UHNBC Drummers will open the day for us, Bell E Buttons the Clown will be there with his balloon twisting skills, Save On Foods will be providing a BBQ, McDonalds will be there with refreshments, the Mini-Rail will be set up with rides for everyone. The whole community is invited for this event.

All proceeds of the Hospice Colour Walk are in support of Home Hospice, as we celebrate its 1st year. Home Hospice is allowing people at the end of their lives to remain in the comfort of their homes and receive the same compassionate care our Rotary House is known for. However, Home Hospice is non-funded and relies on the financial support of our community to continue providing the excellent care we do.
