The city of Prince George is hosting its first Seniors Housing Symposium next month.
The day is to connect with seniors in the area about the housing issues they face and direct them to information that could help.
There will be talks by BC Seniors Advocate Isobel Mackenzie, the city, BC Housing, and Northern Health.
Seniors will have the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback on how housing effects them.
The event is made possible thanks to an age-friendly project grant from the Union of BC Municipalities.
The symposium is happening on Thursday, May 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre and is free of charge for those who register.
