Update 9:00 a.m.:
One of the drivers involved in yesterday’s collision on Highway 97 has now died.
Prince George RCMP say the 39 year old woman driving an SUV that crashed into a transit bus just before 3, yesterday afternoon succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
Speed and poor road conditions are believed to be factors in the collision.
Police and the BC Coroner’s Service are still investigating and ask anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward and call the PG Detachment at (250) 561-3300.

A serious accident on Highway 97 Wednesday has one person in hospital.
Shortly before 3 p-m, a vehicle collided with a transit bus near the John Hart Bridge.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital and is in serious condition with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the bus was the only occupant of that vehicle and was not injured.
Traffic on Highway 97 was closed for several hours.
