Thursday afternoon the Regional District of Fraser Fort George directors met for the first time since last months municipal election.
At the top of the meeting, Art Kaehn was re-elected as chairperson. He has held the role since 2007.
He says they plan to hit the ground running with an influx of new blood;
“The turnover isn’t quite normal for this regional district; it’s usually quite a bit less. But just from meeting the folks informally already I think we are going to work well as a team very quickly”
Half the members of the board are sitting on it for the first time.
Terry Burgess was selected as vice chair.
