There is arguably a no more refreshing way to enter the new year than in the icy, frigid embrace of a frozen Canadian lake.
The 18th annual Polar Bear Dip, held at the Ness Lake Bible Camp, is gearing up for the 2019 plunge.Â
The cost for the brave dippers is $25.00 and spectators are free, pledge forms are available by clicking here.Â
Awesome prizes are given for the top 3 people who raised the most money and for the top 3 best dressed costumes. Â
Hot chocolate, coffee and fresh cinnamon buns will be provided for dippers and cheerleaders. Â
Ness Lake Bible Camp is located about 40 minutes west of downtown Prince George, at 23705 Camp Rd, the dip starts at 2:30pm, however those participating are asked to sign in at 2:00pm.
