Rescue crews respond to structure fire

Prince George Fire Rescue from three halls put out a house fire today.

According to them, a call came in around 12:00pmĀ citing a possible structure fire at the 4800 block of Strom Place.

When they arrived, first crews found a two storyĀ single dwelling with light smoke and elevated temperatures coming from the second story bathroom.

Crews quickly gained control of the incident and extinguished the fire, which had started from the bathroom exhaust fan.

The dollar loss is estimated at $10,000.00.

One occupant was home at the time of the fire and was evacuated safely. There were no reported injuries to civilians or fire personnel.
