Vista Radio's Community Christmas charity drive rolls on strong

The donations keep rolling in for Vista Radio’s Community Christmas.

Wednesday saw dozens of people dropping off food, money, or toys for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

On Tuesday, over $2400 was raised, brining the total to $7100 for the weej,

Joan McNeil with the Society has been with us during the drive and says it warms her heart to see people coming up to donate for those in need.

“Really and truly that people of all denominations will come and give,” she says.

McNeil says the St. Vincent de Paul society helps those who are alone or live on the street, “They need it the most,” she says. “St. Vincent de Paul fills a niche for the community, they get their breakfast, lunch, and supper there.”

For those who have yet to donate but might be thinking about it, McNeil advises “Just drop in! The spirit is awesome. It gives me goose bumps to think that people are so generous.”
