Bad Drivers of BC is a new YouTube channel showcasing the best, or worst, talent the province has to offer.
The creator, a man from Prince George who asked to stay anonymous to “avoid any potential repercussions from any angry bad drivers”, posted the first episode earlier this week.
He explained what gave him the idea to start the channel.
“I was driving on a highway west of Prince George and I had a pickup pull up beside me and repeatedly tried to wreck me into the center divider,” he said.
“I went out the next day and bought myself a dashcam and came up with the idea for this channel in the hopes that I can encourage the driving public to be a little bit more cautious with their driving through the realization that, maybe if they break the law or do something bad, someone might see it and it might end up on YouTube.”
Although the name has bad drivers in it, that is not the only thing you will find on the channel. The next video will come out in the next few days according to the creator and he gave a sneak peek at what one clip will show.
“There will be some clips on there about unbelievable things caught on dashcams as well. In fact, one of the clips for the new video that I’m currently working on, which will be the next video to come out, there is a clip in there of a very small SUV pulling a small plane on a trailer down 5th avenue.”
The channel is accepting submissions for any bad driver clips from BC roads, whether it be in PG, other parts of northern BC, or anywhere in the province. Submissions can be made at [email protected].
