If you want to put your nerves to the test this Halloween, the Prince George Haunted Maze is the place to be.
It’s the 3rd of its kind, put on by the Maze Runner’s Association in the 4-H Barn at the CN Centre Fairgrounds. Admission is by donation and this year they are collecting monetary donations for the PG Search and Rescue as well as food donations for St. Vincent de Paul.
If you’ve been before, don’t expect the same thing this year. Chris Bennett, President of Maze Runners, said there are no “monster-repeats” and that they’ve had some pretty terrified reactions.
“We’ve had people come through that hit the ground, they drop to their knees and scream. We’ve had people run into walls out of sheer terror. We’ve had people admit that they’ve wet themselves, some people have cried,” said Bennett.
From the Haunted Maze last year, Maze Runner’s made a donation of $12,000 to the John Howard Society and six truckloads of food for St. Vincent.
Showtimes vary with different levels of scare; there will be no child-friendly levels on Friday or Saturday.
