Lyn Hall is the Mayor of Prince George for another term.
Hall won in a landslide against candidate Willy Ens with 11,702 votes to 1045 this evening, and City Council was voted in with two new faces to the crowd.
“I just feel fantastic tonight, I know I say it all the time but I feel so privileged to be the Mayor of Prince George,” said Hall at his election night event, held at the PG Sandman Signature.
“The campaign was a little different than in 2014. I think we did a really really good job in making sure we had a tight campaign and got the messages out that we wanted to.”
Hall was also excited about the new council for 2018, which includes six incumbents and two newcomers, Cori Ramsey and Kyle Sampson.
“We have a great demographic age-wise, a great demographic gender wise I think it’s a good balance. We bring different things to the table, each one of us. We all bring a great exuberance and we did before too, so I’m glad we can continue with this,” said Hall.
“I just want to thank the residents of Prince George for their support with me for the last four years and I just want them to know that I bring that same exuberance and ready to work attitude to the next term.”
