Local residents have two more chances to get ahead of the game this week in casting an early ballot for Prince George’s next mayor, council, and School District 57 (SD57) trustees.
The Prince George Civic Centre and UNBC Bentley Centre will be hosting polls tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday respectively, wrapping up the official round of advanced voting.
Polls are open from 8AM to 8PM on both days in addition to Saturday’s general election day.
The fourth and final All-Candidates Forum between mayor and council hopefuls is slated for tomorrow from UNBC’s Canfor Theatre starting at 7PM.
This event is hosted by the post-secondary school, the Prince George Citizen, the Prince George Chamber of Commerce (PGCC) and the BC Northern Real Estate Board (BCNREB).
A debate is also on the docket Tuesday night for SD57 trustee candidates, which begins at 6:30PM from Vanier Hall.
That debate is being hosted by the PG District Teacher’s Association (PGDTA), the District Parent’s Advisory Council (D-PAC), and CUPE.
