WorksafeBC continues to look into an accident which occurred at the Brinks Sawmill earlier this week.
Scott McCloy is the Worksafe Media Relations Director and says the investigation could take a while:
“The investigation continues and I expect the investigation to take two to three or more months to conclude”
The worker was injured while operating some wood chipping equipment and had to be airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital.
While not currently able to disclose the workers name or nature of injuries, we will have more information as it becomes available.
