Being carbon neutral continues to resonate in Prince George on National Tree Day.
Since 2014, students from UNBC have provided local volunteer businesses a carbon footprint analysis and given recommendations on how to save energy.
“Small and medium enterprises are the businesses that are taking over and when those local businesses put their stamp on this, it’s fantastic. I think it sends a message to the rest of the community that this is an important issue.”
– Todd Corrigall, PG Chamber CEO
The PG Chamber also dedicated four trees to Duchess Community Park.
