Operation red nose begins its first weekend of service on Friday.
Up to 18 teams will be out around Prince George providing safe rides home.
But local spokesperson Andrea Johnson says they still need volunteers;
“Right now we have about 189 volunteers. There is still time to register at ORNPG.ca during the holiday season”
Red Nose had hoped to attract 400 volunteers to fill driving, navigating and call taking positions.
