Flights in and out of Prince George are being delayed and cancelled, due to a malfunction of their weather system.
Airport spokesperson Lindsay Cotter says “NavCanada is expected to have their equipment up and running late this afternoon.”
The malfunction is affecting all flights except for Central Mountain Air and some Air Canada flights.
However, Air Canada is issuing a travel advisory warning that delays and cancellations are likely for YXS flights due to a heavy snowfall warning that is threatening to dump up to 25 cm on Prince George by Thursday morning.
