For the first time in Prince George, the President’s Choice SuperDogs are at the BCNE.
Trainers and their furry friends are showcasing a variety of their athletic ability by performing different tricks for parents and their children.
Trainer Alysa Lindverg says they always try to spend as much time as they can with their dogs.
“I don’t actually spend a ton of time on training them each day. [There’s] Lots of flyball and agility, stuff like that so they can get their exercise. For tricks, we spend five to 15 minutes max per day.”
The dogs are performing outside while the air quality advisory is in effect but Lindverg says it hasn’t been a problem for the animals so far.
“I have fans and stuff for her in the back, plus she has a cooling mat and always fresh water.”
The President’s Choice SuperDogs will be down at the BCNE all weekend performing four shows a day.
