Results from the municipal election were also pretty closely to “My Prince George” survey.
While the vote came down to Lyn Hall winning the mayoral race with 54 per-cent, our poll predicted he would win with 52 per-cent.
President Reg Johns with the poll’s administration team – “Mass 2 Online” says the accurate results come down to the large sample size of 445 people who responded.
“That’s a pretty large sample, I don’t know if focus groups, or things like that would give you that kind of sample,” he says. “It was online, they had [a two-week] period of time to give us their thoughts.”
Johns says the poll also correctly called the fluoride referendum and predicated council with around 90% accuracy.
