The City is looking for local artists to submit a design for a mural that will be put on the walls of the Plaza Parkade.
The space available is roughly five meters by 13 metres per side and the mural can be one continuous piece or a series of smaller cutouts.
“The goal of the commissioned artwork is to beautify the community while conveying the positive spirit of Prince George and Northern BC. The artwork will most often be seen by passing motorists.”
– Doug Hofstede, Community Coordinator with the City of Prince George
The winner of the bid will receive $8,000 to be used for fees and costs; the deadline for the submission is August 30th.
