WATCH: Hundreds of PG residents walk for loved ones, cancer survivors

PG’s Relay for Life raised more than $365,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society this year.

The 24-hour event honours those who battle various forms of cancer, which included a ‘Survivors Lap.’

“When you’re diagnosed and told you’re probably not going to live past six months, but then they find something that keeps you going for five-years. The definition of a cure, to me, is prolonging your life and being here to enjoy things you didn’t think you were going to get to enjoy.”

– Cancer Survivor Eva Patten

Organizers say donations will still be accepted until the end of August.
