The City of Prince George will start flushing watermains in the Hart to remove sediment from the system.
Starting tomorrow(June 6th), residents south of Austin Road near Foothills Boulevard and Kelly Road/Highland Drive may experience cloudy water for a few hours each day.
The water is safe to drink, but it is being suggested residents avoid doing laundry between 8:30 am to 3 pm while the system is being flushed because the operation can stir up iron deposits.
The project is expected to take two to three weeks to complete.
