Prince George – Mackenzie MLA Mike Morris says these are life saving beds;

“With winter bringing harsher and more unpredictable weather, it’s important to have emergency shelter space where people can take refuge. Having extreme weather shelters available in our community can save lives.”

This is a part of $1.6 million that the province is spending across 90 communities in BC to open more than 1,000 temporary extreme spaces.
