ICYMI: Anything and everything up for grabs at Junk in the Trunk Sale

Over 125 vendors are on hand for the Junk in the Trunk event at the CN Centre parking lot.

It gets underway from 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday.

“CN Centre has been very generous to give us a third of their parking lot and then another third is for shoppers and the last third is for the soccer mom’s so we have always had 125 spaces and we’ve been booked solid for about a month,” says REAPS Executive Terri McClymont.

McClymont encourages people to snap any desired items they may want to buy so they avoid getting shut out.

“The wait and see approach is something I tried and unfortunately I guess I snoozed and I lost and didn’t get the item I was looking at, so if you see it grab it.”

She adds you’ll see just about everything at a one-day event.

“Well, we see everything including the kitchen sink so there’s furniture, birdhouses, household items, clothing, shoes, sports stuff you name it we usually see it.”

The meet is put on by the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George and REAPS.

It should be a busy today in the northern capital with this and the grand opening of the new Farmers Market location downtown along with an L’heidli T’enneh Treaty installing ceremony at 10:30 AM at the PG Civic Centre.
