Mayor Hall presented with a toque as part of challenge

Members of the emergency services agencies in prince George presented Mayor Lynn Hall with a toque as art of the Honour House Toque Challenge.

The challenge is to bring awareness to the Honour House, a “home away from home’ for emergency responders who require accommodations in Vancouver while receiving medical care.

The house is provides free services for emergency service providers and their families to get through some difficult part of their lives.

The toque was presented by Cst. Dan Smith of the PG RCMP, along with representatives from the BC ambulance services, Prince George Fire rescue and BC Corrections.
