PG Chamber of Commerce hoping survey sheds light on future

Members of the Prince George Chamber of Commerce have a chance to voice their opinion on how the organization should be shaped leading up to the Annual General Meeting.

This year, the annual survey includes two questions that focus on experience and how the organization can evolve over in the coming years.

The business sector is constantly changing according to CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Todd Corrigal.

“If you look at today’s business climate, marketing, communications, and engagement are probably the three most imperative things too any business that is looking at growth as their real future opportunities. When you look at social media the minimal cost that it takes, the minimal time that it takes, and the outcomes that can be derived from it, I think it’s a fantastic opportunity.”

The survey is anonymous, which provides a chance for people to talk about things they normally wouldn’t in person.

“If somebody has concerns they didn’t feel like expressing in a face to face or one-on-one discussion environment they certainly have the ability to include that in the survey. That type of feedback is only going to help us improve we do business and the way in which we interact with our members.”

Corrigal says, from his perspective, the most important part is understanding what members value the most.

The chamber is also welcoming non-members to take part in the survey until it closes Monday March 5th.

The survey can be found here.
