Aerial patrols in the Omineca region spotted two snowmobiles in a restricted area last week, which resulted in charges being laid.
Closures northeast of Prince George in the Captains Creek and Otter Lake area, as part of the mountain caribou closures, were being patrolled when officers found the snowmobiles and contacted conservation officers on the ground.
The two were then contacted and charged under the BC Wildlife Act.
