A fatal three-vehicle accident has closed Highway 16 west near the Chilako Bridge according to the Prince George RCMP.

The accident took place around 12:45pm.
An on-scene officer says a coroner should be at the scene by 5:00pm and the road will be closed until at least 7:00pm.
The investigation is ongoing.
