Mayor Lyn Hall, members of Council, and staff will host two information sessions before the end of the month.
The events will allow residents to get information on city initiatives and ask questions to staff and elected officials.
Both sessions will include a presentation on the current initiatives by the city.
“It’s an opportunity for residents to talk directly with city officials about all sorts of things related to city business,” explains Senior Communications Officer Mike Kellett.
“There will be lots of opportunities to talk to city officials and staff.”
Other highlights include a question and answer period facilitated by the Mayor, a chance for the public to request services, and information on how to provide feedback on budget priorities.
The latter is especially important, according to Kellett.
“It’s just prior to budget deliberations so it’s a really critical time for the city to get feedback from residents because they are about to set the priorities for the for the budget for the coming year.”
The first session will be on Saturday, November 25th, from 2:30 to 4:00pm with a presentation at 3:00pm.
The second is scheduled for Wednesday, November 29th, from 6:30 to 8:00pm with a presentation at 7:00pm.
Both will be held in the Bob Harkins Branch of the Prince George Public Library.
