The PGSS Polars are PG Bowl high school football champions for the second time in three years.
The Polars whipped the College Heights Cougars 31-11 in the Double-A Varsity Northern Conference final at John McInnis field to capture the Matt Pearce Memorial Trophy.

Pearce is a Prince George Sports Hall of Fame member and former CFL running back who died suddenly in January of 2016.
Both the Polars and Cougars advance to the Provincials in Vernon on Saturday, November 11th.
College Heights will play Hugh Boyd of Richmond at 2:30PM followed by PGSS against Argyle Secondary School of North Vancouver at 5PM.
The Polars have not lost this year against Prince George opposition.
