Slices for Smiles campaign back to support children’s hospitals

The Slices for Smiles campaign is in its 10th year and is a way to raise money for local children’s hospitals.

“What we like about this is that it stays in the community,” explains Pat Finelli, Chief Marketing Officer.

“So all the money raised in Prince George will be going towards the BC Children’s Hospital.”

Between October 16th – November 12th, a special nine-inch pizza is available with a portion of the proceeds going towards the fundraiser.

Other organizations benefitting from the fundraiser are Stollery Children’s Hospital, Alberta Children’s Hospital, and the Jim Pattison Hospital Foundation.

“This support ensures our member hospitals can provide the best possible care for our children – giving them a chance to live long healthy lives and realize their dream,” says Mark Hierlihy, President & CEO of Children’s Miracle Network.

The goal this year is $500,000 nationwide.

Since it began in 2007, Slices for Smiles has raised over $2.5 million for children’s causes in Canada.
