The Northern BC Tourism Summit is this week and will feature a couple big names.
BC-based power brand Arc’teryx will be in town to talk about their major promotional campaign developed in partnership with Northern BC Tourism.
Over the last year, producers, athletes, and photographers have been in the region, preparing for the outdoors company’s Winter 2017 launch.
Sarah Leishman, Arc’teryx Global Digital Community Manager, will join Clint Fraser, Northern BC Tourism CEO, to talk about the partnership, and why the brand chose Northern BC as the region for its campaign.
“Working with relevant like-minded brands allows us to reach highly qualified markets in a more organic way.” Fraser says.
“The partnership has provided us an opportunity to put Northern BC experiences, stores, and people at the forefront of Arc’teryx’s outdoor adventure marketing efforts.”
The Winter 2017 campaign includes a blog series, videos, lookbook, abd a series of “character” stories using the faces and places of Northern BC.
The Summit will also feature keynote addresses from futurist Nikolas Badminton, and author and prefessor Wade Davis, who has been dubbed “Canada’s Indiana Jones”.
The Northern BC Tourism Summit is on Monday, October 16th and Tuesday, October 17th at the Prince George Civic Centre.
