With the Canada Winter Games just around the corner Hotels and Bed and Breakfasts have been filling up across the city. Leaving many people who are coming into town without accommodations.
Addressing this issue, Adam Spurrell who is coordinating the the billet and home stay program for the CWG explained how he is finding a place to stay for volunteers, staff and athletes’ families alike:
“I have an amazing group of volunteers that are scheduling visits and they are going and viewing each home just to make sure that they are up to the standards that the CWG has people staying at”
