Body of a man found on the banks of the Fraser River near Quesnel

Quesnel RCMP were called to the banks of the Fraser River near the Plywood Plant on Monday after a human remains were found.

The BC Coroner Service has confirmed that the body is that of a man who fell into the river early on the morning of June 24, just upstream from where the body was located.

The Coroner Service is investigating.
