The Cody Legebokoff trial resumes, Monday morning.
His Defense asked for a change of plea at the last second, before presiding Justice Glen Parrett gives final advice to the jury to make their verdict.
It was asked that Legebokoff be found guilty of second degree murder of four women between 2009 and 2010, with Legebokoff saying he was not guilty of first degree murder when each charge was listed against him.
The Crown Prosecutor chose not to consent to the change.
The trial continues at the Prince George Courthouse.
