A couple of Prince George Cougars have been given invites by Hockey Canada to attend its annual National Teams’ Summer Showcase in Calgary.
More than 110 players, including Cougars rookie goaltender Taylor Gauthier, will assemble for the Under-17 Development Camp starting July 22nd.

44 players, which includes Cougars forward Jackson Leppard, will vie for a spot on Canada’s Summer Under-18 Men’s Team during a five-day selection camp in late July.
The Canadian U-18’s will compete at the 2017 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup in August.
Meanwhile, more than 40 prospects looking to earn an invitation to December’s National Junior Team selection camp will make their way to Plymouth, Michigan in August for Canada’s National Junior Team Summer Development Camp.
