Big Brothers Big Sisters Prince George is kicking off its “Big Escape Raffle” today.
The owner of this year’s winning ticket will have more options than raffle winners in years past. The lucky ticket will be awarded hotel and flights (from Vancouver) for two to Disney World, Napa Valley, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, or any regular season pro sports event in any North American city.
With options like these, Events Coordinator Sydney Sankey says there isn’t a bad choice.
“That’s the beauty of it. I mean, we could have one trip, but that really narrows people into a box so we want you to have the opportunity to make your own decision.”
Over the next three months, you can buy your raffle tickets through the organization’s office and at community events like Summerfest and Show & Shine. All proceeds will go to proactive mentoring programming in the city.
There are 5750 tickets available: 1,250 at $10 each and 4,500 sold in groups of three for $20.
You can buy your ticket until the morning of the draw on September 22nd.
