Local dealerships in full throttle during nine day Mega Sale

The week-long Mega Sale in Prince George is off and running.

A new vendor has been added to the 2017 event.

“NR Motors brings a lot more to see and to look at. They’ve got RV’s, SUV’s, boats, ATV’s and motorcycles, which is adding a new level of excitement,” says coordinator Dan Dennis.

Dennis believes the new group will fit like a glove.

“It’s kind of a bit of a peg since you need a truck to tow an RV. Most of the dealers in the north have said trucks are a big part of their market, the fact that you’re towing something or hauling something it was just a natural fit.”

Dealerships like the Northland Auto Group, Prince George Motors, Wood Wheaton Honda and Wood Wheaton Chev Cadillac set up shop on Friday and will be on site until next Saturday.

“It’s an excellent opportunity to shop and compare vehicles. You can pop into one vehicle and if you’re looking at one in a similar model you can walk across the parking lot and drive another just to get a sense of the ride,” says Dennis.

Admission to the sale is free.

It runs from 9 am to 7 pm until June 17 at the CN Centre parking lot.
