The 2ndĀ annual “Big Squeeze” competition kicks off Wednesday.
That’s where 14 teams will compete to see who can sell the most juice and raise the most money for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Prince George
Tim Bennett , Executive Director says the idea was inspired by seeing the dozens of kids that pop up stands around the city this time, every year.
“What the best way to raise money, is to go back to what you did as a kid, that is to sell lemonade” Bennett explains. “Really, it’s a big shout-out to all the kids out there who sell lemonade on the side of the road each and every day, because we use them as inspiration for this event.”
Bennett hopes to raise $4,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters Prince George on Wedneaday.
The Big Squeeze kicks off at 10 a.m., and goes until 2 p.m..
