Parts of Cottonwood Island Park, Heritage River Trail reopened

The City has reopened parts of Cottonwood Island Park and the Heritage River Trail.

City staff believes this year’s flood threat is over and confirm many areas of the trail are safe again.

However, some icy parts will remain closed.

The park was originally closed in late-December.
