Worksafe BC is slamming Lakeland Mills with hefty fines following its investigation into the deadly explosion two years ago.
It was announced that the penalties will cost the company over $724,163.28, though Worksafe says the cost does not reflect the loss of lives and pain suffered by workers.
Two were killed in the explosion and dozens more injured.
Lakeland has 90 days from Tuesday to file an appeal with Worksafe.
