The family of Maxwell Harvey Mayling is pleading to the public for any information on his whereabouts.
According to the Prince George RCMP, the 51-year-old was last seen in late October and was reported missing by his brother, Archer Pechawis, in early November.
Pechawis is urging any strangers who may have encountered his brother when he moved from Fort St. John to call the local detachment.
“You can maintain your annuity if you feel like you’re somehow at risk or just don’t want to get involved, but please, if you know something, please come forward.”

He calls Mayling a caring father, loyal friend, and a great fisherman who would do anything to help other people.
RCMP Superintendent Warren Brown is confident someone has been in contact with Mayling or knows of what his condition is.
“I would hope that these people would have the courage to come forward. I hope that would go to somebody’s own moral, ethical beliefs and values and we’re urging them to come forward and talk to us.”
