Prince George Fire Rescue extinguishes midnight blaze near Hart Highway

Prince George Fire Rescue crews responded to a house fire just before Midnight on Friday.

15 firefighters from three different halls arrived at the residence in the 2800 block of Nixon Crescent along the Hart Highway.

The blaze was quickly extinguished and no one was in the household when it started, however the damage is an estimated $100,000.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
