United Way got another large donation this afternoon, this time from a local bank.
RBC made a corporate donation of $21,000 to kick start the bank’s United Way campaign.
The bank’s Regional VP Tim Carmack wants to keep helping those in the north.
“RBC is a proud supporter of the community and the work that United Way does is important and we have the opportunity to continue to support them.”
Carmack is now challenging the local RBC employees to raise 41,800 by December 31st. That’s 10% higher than last year’s $38,000 donation.
The money will help United Way fund programs across northern BC, including 23 Prince George charities.
