Wednesday afternoon’s severe thunderstorm warning has been downgraded to a thunderstorm watch, but it has already caused some damage.
BC Hydro says over 200 customers had their power knocked out due to hail.
Environment Canada’s Doug Lundquist says there is “potential” for thunderstorms to kick back up again.
Lundquist expects the watch to continue through the evening and possibly into Thursday.
