An 18-year-old Prince George man is in Provincial court today in connection to a found stolen vehicle.
Around 5 PM Wednesday, a Prince George RCMP officer found a man driving a blue Jeep Liberty near 20th Avenue and Upland Street. The Jeep fit the description of a vehicle that went missing from a Recplace Drive hotel parking lot that morning.
The officer followed the vehicle until it parked and the driver exited. The officer confirmed the Jeep was the stolen vehicle and arrested the man, who gave a fake name. Police say the licence plate was also stolen.
Donovan Roberts faces many charges, including possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, obstructing a peace officer, fail to comply with probation, and personation with intent.
