Prince George is getting set to celebrate this country’s 147th birthday Tuesday.
The Multicultural Heritage Society is throwing a free bash at Fort George Park with entertainment and food, starting at noon.
The forecast calls for mainly sunny conditions with a few clouds, but Festival Supervisor Marlies Greulich is staying positive that we’ll be celebrating in the sun.
The celebrations at Fort George Park will include cake, live music, food, and medieval fighting.
The Railway and Forestry Museum is also hosting a celebration of a century of rail in Northern BC, starting at 4 p.m..
There will also be fireworks launched off Connaught Hill, at 11 p.m..
Buses will only cost $1 for the day.
