Emergency Crews were searching the Nechako River Sunday, after reports that a person had gone in and disappeared into the water.
After the call came in to police around 3 p.m., Staff Sgt. Marc Pelletier says crews searched until 6:30, by boat, foot, and helicopter, before shutting down.
He says search and rescue may head out again Monday, but notes despite a witness report saying someone was seen going in, there have been no reports made to police that someone is actually missing.
