Window-smashing spree prompts RCMP investigation

A spree of window smashing in the City this week has the Prince George RCMP looking for multiple suspects.

Police believe a single group, likely with a vehicle, are responsible for smashing several windows with rocks and stolen solar lights late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

Two vehicles on the 4400 block or Urquhart Crescent had their rear windows smashed. Rocks were used to break the windows of a vehicle on the 1200 block of Parsnip Crescent and one on the 4100 block of Guest Crescent.

The living room of a home on the 6800 block of Simon Fraser Avenue was also smashed.

Police believe those responsible for this week’s smashing spree may also have committed others acts of mischief and vandalism in the community.

RCMP are asking anyone who witnessed any of the incidents or has any information that may further the investigation to get in touch.
