6161 Otway Rd Presentations continue tonight

City Council will hear Part 2 of the 6161 Otway Road saga tonight.

CIF Construction and TimberWest want the property rezoned to use it as a work space. Many neighbouring homeowners are passionately against the idea.

So passionate that Council heard four hours of public presentations at a meeting last month. The remaining presentations will be tonight.

That’ll likely take up the bulk of the meeting, but Council will also get an update about the 2017 Telus Cup.

The PG Aboriginal Housing Society also wants to turn a Spruce Street building into not-for-profit senior housing.

The meeting begins at 6 PM in the Council Chambers.
