Ryan Howse of Prince George has been hired as an Assistant Coach with the Prince George Spruce Kings.
The 24-year-old Howse coached the P.G. Midget Tier 1 Cougars to the Provincial Championship this season.
He will work alongside Associate Coach Adam Maglio and under Head Coach Chad van Diemen.
Howse played four seasons with the Chilliwack Bruins in the WHL scoring 47 goals in 2009-10 and 51 goals in the 2010-11 season.
He was selected in the third round, #74 overall, by the Calgary Flames in the 2009 NHL draft.
