ICBA gives CNC trades $25K

The local CNC trades programs got a healthy boost on Monday.

Independent Contractors and Business Association of BC donated $25,000 for “technological advancements.”

The ICBA will also get the naming rights to a room for five years.

Regional Initiatives VP Mike Davis says this was an investment in the school, and in the next generation.

“With all the development that is slated for the province, in particular, the north, it’s good to have these people training and in our own backyards so they can get working and help grow the economy,” he says.

He says ICBA plans to help other Nothern groups soon.
